Yurt Experience in Northern Ontario
The Yurt Experience in Northern Ontario gives what urban living starves us for – a deep swig of wilderness, getting disentangled and entirely out of touch, inspiration to delight in life and in each other, feeling human again. Hidden in a secluded river bend, the handmade structure is quaintly reminiscent of fairy tale dwellings deep in the forest. Inside you are embraced by a lattice cocoon of locally-collected balsam saplings. Cosy wood burning stove in winter. Screened cabana in summer.
Hidden out of sight, our 25-ft handcrafted yurt sits on a beautiful, PRIVATE lazy river in the middle of a 500-acre farm on the northern cusp of Algonquin Park. The beauty of the natural world is all-encompassing. Winter, one of our most glorious seasons, has finally arrived with its amazing beauty and outdoor activities for our guests to enjoy.
Perfect for couple getaways, solo retreats or small groups up to four adults, the yurt is tucked in a very secluded bend of the Amable du Fond River and surrounded by the majestic forest.
